Create Custom Tools on WordPress

I got stuck on

Step 1: Create The Basic Backend Function

I have a simple site with a theme 2024 installed and a single plugin WP Code installed. I followed the steps exactly as in video 1  from the lesson https://learnwithhasan.com/lessons/create-a-sample-tool/ and implemented the UI but I have an error and I can not go any further.

I do not know how to fix it...

@alfredo-gimbuta when I inspect (right mouse click the webpage and choose inspect) your webpage I see a few errors as pictured below. The missing favicon.ico isn't a problem but the other two are. Try fixing the issue with not being able to find your my-custom-ajax.js file first. Be sure to give an absolute path to the .js file.

I do appreciate that. Could you be more specific? I just followed the step in the video... 

 

Hasan doesn't say about the my-custom-ajax.js.... 

 

and how  to give an absolute path to this my-custom-ajax.js file

Hello @alfredo-gimbuta are you sure you went over the steps correctly, because i just tested it from my end and it looks like the function isn't working look at this:
