Hello friends, in the past few days, I have faced some problems with my website's Google indexing. My website is LANKACAREER.COM. Nearly 20-30 blog posts were ranking in the top 10 on Google, and I was receiving around 50K monthly organic traffic. However, after the 6th of March 2024, my organic traffic suddenly dropped. When I checked Google search, there were no search results or images appearing. Then I tried searching using the "site:lankacareer.com" command, and all the pages were shown. Whenever I post a new blog, it gets indexed very quickly but doesn't appear in the search results. Some people have suggested that it might be due to a Robots.txt error or a Google core update error or even toxic backlinks. Could you please provide the best reason for this issue and give me a solution to solve this problem?

@lkcareer your site is too advertisement heavy. I can't even get rid of the "Subscribe" overlay. Google is doing a sweep of what it considers valuable content and even paying for content reviewers to let them know what is valuable. Your site is difficult to follow and an advertisement overlay appears when I click on a potential job. This is not a user friendly experience and people are likely to just close the page. I am sorry to say that you need a major redesign to get back to the top of Google's rankings.

The suggestions you mentioned are correct. It can be a problem in the robots or a Google core update, and your site was penalized due to a violation, or maybe you just updated the algorithm, and your site dropped.

Did you do anything special on your site ?
