Can you help me understand the difference between a newsletter and an email list? Do people do both?
I'm looking to do both but don't want to complicate things. I'm thinking my newsletter would be a scheduled, formatted round-up type email. The rest would be more personal communications with my email list (segments), and affiliate marketing.
ConvertKit, Systeme.io, or Beehiiv??
You use your email-list to send your newsletter as well as other correspondence. The email list is nothing more than a list of people's email addresses of people who have given you permission to email them. Never purchase an email list, too risky for becoming classified as SPAM and getting blocked.
