Forum in maintenance, we will back soon 🙂
Email the registrants on your site securely Do I have to host my sites in a vps server?
Welcome, most wonderful forum 😀 . I have a number of questions that I hope you will answer. I am in the process of launching my project and I have a marketing platform for brands, international stores, service sites, and a section for affiliate marketers. Likewise, two blogs,in WordPress, one for marketers, together as a forum and blog to share strategies. The other is for marketers and I to write articles of value to customers and the public. Websites hosted by hostgator.
1_Do you advise me to transfer the sites to vps hosting because I will rely on emails in my work to continue working on the sites.
2_After setting up SMTP, do I have to set the ip for each domain separately?
3_When a person creates an account and after confirming his account, he is considered registered in my mailing list.
@taha You don't need separate IP addresses for SMTP but once you grow your business into something substantial it would be a good idea. As for VPS, again, it will depend on the amount of consumers accessing the systems. Most VPS still shares a server with other VPS unless you've specified a dedicated server so it won't be worth getting it until you need it.
Yes, if someone has created an account and stated you can send them emails, you may consider them in your mailing list. However, you may want to also ask if they want to subscribe to a newsletter and keep track of those separately as most people won't appreciate getting newsletters they didn't specifically sign up for plus there is the legal issues regarding it.

@ssadvisor thank you for answer ☺️
I understand with you that I can continue currently on the current hosting. But can I rely on hosting HostGator specifically in wapmail, which allows me to create emails and link them to the account creation pages to send the account confirmation message and also to the users in case they get commissions or cashback from my website or things like that and the message reaches the inbox. Is that safe and I know I will not send the message randomly.
@taha if you're collecting funds and issuing checks for associates I would suggest you look at ThriveCart. You build your site with a button to link to ThriveCart and then send them back to a thank-you page. Plus you can build the affiliate program easily.
