ActivePieces is an Open Source implementation of automation software written in TypeScript and using Node.js that is based on the trigger->action paradigm model. They've just announced a switch in their pricing model to a Cloud Pay-As-You-Go model. You get 1000 tokens per month for free and the you pay $1.00 per 1000 tokens of use. So stop paying for Zaps and start paying for Pieces.

Make.com is a great alternative as well.
@google-allenlawrence but Make.com is pricier than the ActivePieces I wrote about and it isn't open source so you can't add to it. Make.com gives you 1000 tokens for free each month but then you have to purchase 10,000 tokens at a time for anything you go over. ActivePieces charges on a pay-as-you-go method so you pay $1.00 USD for the next 1000 tokens. When I was actively using Make.com I was constantly going over the 10,000 tokens and when that happened the processing stopped until I paid for the next 10,000 and I had to manually restart the processing. ActivePieces doesn't stop processing, it just bills you the $1.00 USD for the next 1000 tokens; which would you want to do, stop processing until you pay or keep processing and pay another $1.00 per 1000 tokens?
