how to start a business from scratch?
Posted by Samudera on August 30, 2025 at 3:09 amI have read your YouTube post about “The laziest way to find 10,000 paying customers.” My question is, can you guide me step by step from the initial idea to the launch? FYI, my budget is only $60.

dont invest anything, you can build the site locally first, and when it is ready you can go online

Okay, my mistake. So where do I start? Should I learn Build a 1-Person Digital Business From Scratch, and what tools should I use?
-
the first thing is the idea (the product), what you wanna build?
have you tried anything before?

I am still learning to use n8n trial self host for a month, and have just created financial record tools using telegram bot and Gemini. Just exploring for personal needs, haven’t made tools for sale yet.

“I’ve watched your latest video and I have a couple of questions:
-
Do I need to create my own product, or can I promote affiliate products that are related to my content topic?
-
I’ve already validated my product in Indonesia—can it be sold to a global market, and would it still have a good product–market fit globally?”
-
1. yes you can
2. it depends on the product, if it fits in a specific country it doesn’t mean will work in another
-
If I create an e-book as a lead magnet and include referral links to affiliate products that I participate in, is that okay? I am interested in transitioning from being a lecturer to a solopreneur, which is a very different world for me. I am not sure if my knowledge and experience are market-fit to be sold globally.
-
what do you mean by “is that okay”
yes you can do so. it is one way to promote affiliate links

And these are my laptop specifications Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8350U CPU @ 1.70GHz (8 CPUs), ~1.9GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Is that sufficient to run/build an app/tool?
-
Okay—regarding the problem–solution step, I feel my idea isn’t a good market fit globally, so I’ll switch careers to become a solopreneur. That means I’m essentially missing step one, since I don’t have prior solopreneur experience. For my content, should I focus solely on documenting my day-to-day progress, or should I intersperse it with targeted topics? Btw i choose 3 platform medium,x,and youtube to focus start my journey as solopreneur
