# We Taught Our Website to Write (Most of) Its Own Content
Most businesses know they should be publishing regularly. Almost none actually do it — because someone has to write the post, format it, add the right structure, and remember to do it again next week. That "someone" is usually the business owner, at 9pm, instead of doing literally anything else.
We got tired of that, so we automated it. Here's what we built for ourselves — and what we can build for you.
## The problem with content
Two things were eating our time every week:
Formatting. Every case study needed the same layout — client, services, date, a clean write-up — and getting there meant copying, pasting, and manually wrapping content in the right structure. Small job, every time, forever.
Starting from a blank page. We had a list of blog topics we knew would bring in the right visitors. Knowing what to write about isn't the hard part. Sitting down and writing it, consistently, week after week, is.
## What we built instead
Two quiet automations, both running in the background:
An auto-formatter. Finish writing a case study, tag it, and within the hour it's reformatted into a polished, consistent layout — no copy-paste, no manual structure work.
A draft generator. Keep a running list of topics. Once a day, it picks the next one and writes a complete, ready-to-review draft — grounded in real facts about the business, not generic filler — and drops it into WordPress as a draft.
Nothing publishes itself. Every single post is written, reviewed, and approved by a human before it goes live. The automation does the first 80% of the work; a person still does the final 20% that actually matters.
