Introducing Our New Staff Training Reminder and Compliance System
I am pleased to share an important improvement to how we manage staff training, compliance, and renewal reminders across Best Homes Support.
We have now developed a new automated training reminder system designed to make training compliance easier to manage, easier to monitor, and much harder to miss.
The system works alongside our existing staff training records and automatically identifies when mandatory training is missing, due for renewal, close to expiry, or already overdue.
For staff, this means clearer and more timely reminders. Instead of relying on manual follow-up, the system can send personalised emails showing exactly which training requires attention, how urgent it is, and when it is due.
For managers, it gives us a more consistent way to monitor compliance and reduce the risk of staff working with expired or incomplete mandatory training.
Key features include:
Automatic identification of outstanding mandatory training
Personalised reminders sent directly to staff
Clear priority levels such as Critical, Urgent, High Priority and Reminder
Early warning for training approaching expiry
Identification of expired training
Identification of mandatory training that has never been completed
One clear email containing all outstanding training for each staff member
Training requirements aligned to staff roles
Support for Care Workers, Service Managers, Business Development Managers and Registered Managers
Automatic recognition of common staff-role variations
Central use of our existing WordPress training records, avoiding unnecessary duplication
A secure connection between the training system and our automation platform
Test mode, allowing reminders to be checked before any live emails are sent
A foundation for future management escalation and reporting
