Hello Hasan. I am trying to install postal on my smtp server. I am getting the following error when I give the command “postal initialize”
Mysql2::Error::ConnectionError: Can’t connect to MySQL server on ‘127.0.0.1’ (115) (Mysql2::Error::ConnectionError)Also, since I get my domains from namecheap, I am not automatically provided with SSL, like in cloudflare. So I went in and edited that in the yml file and changed the https to http.
Please help!!

I need to know if you finished postal installation and completed, and in which step you are.

@hasan Hello Hasan. Thank you for your message. The reason I posted in the community was that I could not find the forum on the day of the posting. Any way, I re-installed the server and went through your instructions again and was able to install postal. I have not however, made a user on the smtp server yet. I was so happy that the database initialised successfully 🙂 Just kidding. I am a medical doctor and could not find the time to proceed further. Will keep you posted if I run into problems again. Thank you very much for the support though, and next time I will be careful to post in the right forum.
