Hi Guys

I am having problems with the script. Everything downloaded ok but when I pushed 'any key to continue' the Command screen just disappears. I've included a screenshot, just before I pushed the button. Any thoughts on where I've gone wrong?

Thanks, Stan

This is how it works, you will find the pdf report in the script folder

@admin - I went back into the original folder and the only PDF was the one with the cost estimates via ChatGPT. Where else should I be looking?

@aerostan is the PDF empty, can you attach it here?

Morning Hasan

I tried adding the PDF & the Report.py but I get a message on the screen saying 'Error: Filetype not allowed', however I took a snagit screenshot and it allowed it? See JPG below.

PDF Report

 Thanks, Stan

Hi Hasan

Any thoughts on the issues I'm facing? Or where I might have gone wrong?

Thanks, Stan

@admin Hi Hasan. See the screenshot. API Key was entered via Visual Studio. Is that the correct way? Or should I have entered it elsewhere?

Thanks, Stan

@aerostan Yes, that is the correct file. I haven't tried Earthquake yet but I can read code. How are you executing this; in Visual Studio Code or in a command window? Is there anything else you changed? Why were you trying to attach the Report.py file?

P.S.: I hate Windows OS. Don't get me wrong I've used it for a long time but programming for it is a nightmare IMO. Currently I'm using a Google Pixel Go with ChromeOS and using the Linux layer for my development efforts.

@aerostan Yeah that's right, are you familiar with code debugging in visual studio?

are you sure your openAAI account is working? it seems that the api is not returning any results

@admin @ssadvisor  Hi Hasan & Earnie. Thank you both for your responses. As you can no doubt see I'm very new to Coding. Green like a traffic light.

So, late yesterday I sent a Help request to OpenAI and was advised they were aware of a bug that was causing issues on new accounts. Anyway I rebooted the computer this morning (I'm in Australia) and I'm pleased to say everything worked like a charm. I now have a functioning PDF on my chosen Topic.

I appreciate you both reaching out to help. Cheers, Stan
